About me…
Hi, I’m Matt, a Los Angeles portrait photographer and visual creative drawn to images that feel honest, grounded, and fully present.
My work moves across three connected areas. I create refined, collaborative portraits for entertainers, professionals, and creatives, often developing visual concepts and direction alongside them to produce images that feel cleverly unexpected. I photograph pets with the same level of care, focusing on personality, presence, and the bonds that shape everyday life. And through my Creative Access Sessions, I open my studio each month for sliding-scale community sessions - offering space for anyone who wants to explore expression, experiment creatively, or step in front of a camera for the first time.
Across editorial commissions, personal work, and community sessions alike, the intention is the same: to create an environment that feels relaxed, collaborative, and genuine. A space where people can settle in, be themselves, and discover something new in the process.
I believe creativity should be accessible, and that everyone - human or animal - deserves to be seen with clarity, respect, and care. No pressure. No performance. Just honest moments, thoughtfully captured.
